  1. Prepare 2 of medium sized orange Carrots.
  2. You need 3 of medium sized red Tomatoes.
  3. Prepare 1/2 of Onion.
  4. Prepare 4-5 of Garlic cloves.
  5. Prepare 1/2 inch of Ginger.
  6. It's 1 inch of Cinnamon.
  7. You need 2 of Cardamoms.
  8. You need 2 of Cloves.
  9. You need 1 of Bay leaf.
  10. It's 8-10 of black Peppercorns.
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  12. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  13. It's 3-4 cups of Water.
  14. It's As required of Fresh Cream (I used Malai) for garnishing.
  15. You need As required of Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing.

Carrot-Tomato soup - Healthy Tricolor recipe instructions

  1. Put chopped carrots, onion, tomatoes with slits, garlic, ginger & all mentioned whole spices in a pressure cooker along with water & cook for 3 whistles..
  2. Let the pressure release itself. Strain it and keep this water(broth) aside..
  3. Remove the whole spices before blending it to keep the flavors mild. Now blend it till smooth..
  4. Mix it with broth and strain again to get the silky smooth texture..
  5. Now transfer to a vessel, add salt & little black pepper powder and mix it. Bring to a boil & Let it simmer for 5 mins on low flame..
  6. Soup is ready, pour it into soup bowls, garnish with some fesh cream(malai) & coriander leaves. Enjoy Hot!.
