- Peel and cut bett root into cubes,also deseed tomato and cut into cubes.Keep aside..
- Heat a pressure cooker,add butter.Add onion and fry till translucent,add garlic clove also..
- Add beetroot and tomato,stir.Add salt,cinnamon stick and 2 cups water.close the lid and pressure cook on high till 1 whistle..
- Lower the flame to medium and further cook for 2 minutes.Put off flame and let pressure release itself..
- Take out beetroot -tomato mixture into a blender.Discard cinnamon stick.Blend to a fine puree..
- Add the puree to left over water after boiling beetroot,ajdust consistency you dasire.If required add some water.Boil the puree 2-3 minutes..
- Take out in serving bowls and season with black pepper powder.Serve hot..
